Recovery is the set of processes through which the School rebuilds capacity after effort, stress, illness or disruption.

Inside the School

Recovery may involve sleep, reduced demand, movement, food, quiet, connection, time or other conditions that allow the Janitor and Workers to restore the system.

In everyday life

The busy week ends, but your system does not instantly follow the calendar. You sit on the sofa while the Secretary replays unfinished work and Security keeps scanning Monday. Activity stopped; recovery has not fully begun.

After a long trip, a quiet meal, a shower and an early night gradually return some capacity. No single moment fixes the School. Several ordinary conditions make repair more available.

System connections under load

Recovery connects the Janitor, Workers and Furnace. Repeated demand can leave yesterday inside today, especially when sleep, safety or basic needs remain unsettled. A different direction may involve reducing new load, allowing enough time and choosing restoration that matches the state rather than an ideal routine.

Important nuance

Recovery is not identical to doing nothing. A School can be physically still while mentally or emotionally highly activated, which is why recovery must be understood across Worlds. Connected paths: The Janitor · The Furnace · Stress · Fatigue · Regulation Loop

Recovery is the work that allows the School to carry less unfinished load into the next demand.
