Readiness

Readiness describes how prepared the system is for the next demand.

Readiness describes how prepared the system is for the next demand.

Inside the School

A School may be highly motivated but poorly recovered, or physically rested but emotionally unready for a specific situation. Readiness is therefore broader than energy alone.

In everyday life

The same difficult phone call feels possible at ten in the morning and impossible late at night. The conversation did not change; the School’s readiness did.

Readiness can also appear before confidence. You may still feel uncertain while having enough capacity, information and support to begin.

System connections under load

Readiness brings together ENERGY, MIND and PURPOSE. Load can reduce the options available without making the goal wrong. Regulation may mean choosing a better time, preparing the first step or accepting that “not now” is different from “never.”

Important nuance

Checking readiness can improve pacing and planning without turning every decision into a measurement exercise. Connected paths: The Principal · The Furnace · Recovery Capacity · Stress

Readiness asks whether the School can meet this demand now, not whether it should always be able to.
