Health and illness describe changing conditions of the physical system as it maintains function, adapts and responds to disruption.
Inside the School
Illness can alter Energy, sleep, attention, emotion and capacity. At the same time, not every physical signal is illness and not every difficult state can be reduced to stress.
In everyday life
A mild infection changes the whole School. The Body uses more resources, thinking is slower, noise is harder to filter and a normal workload suddenly feels unreasonable.
A better day can also be confusing. You have more energy and try to catch up on everything at once, only to discover that improving is not the same as having unlimited capacity.
System connections under load
Health and illness shape the context in which every World operates. InsideISS can help organize signals and choices, but it cannot identify their medical cause. Regulation may include pacing, ordinary care, updated expectations and professional assessment rather than asking the system to perform as if nothing changed.
Important nuance
InsideISS is educational, not diagnostic. The framework can help organize experience, but it does not replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment. Connected paths: The School Building · The Workers · The Janitor · Body Signals
Health is part of the whole-system context, while diagnosis belongs to appropriate healthcare.
